Hey All,
I have got a question, probably you can help me. I life in Dubai and my Skype is blocked. I can not even download the 4.0. Version. Can you help me????

Yes, Skype is blocked. A member of us has already pointed to this fact on 16th Aug. 2006:

You can bypass this blocking with some additional software like
JAP
http://anon.inf.tu-dresden.de/index_en.html
or
Tor
http://tor.eff.org/index.html.en
Please note:
This software will slow down your traffic. Video therefor not possible.

mir haben lehrer den unterschied zwischen groß und kleinschreibung und die bedeutung der interpunktion zb punkt und komma beigebracht die das lesen eines textes gerade wenn er komplizierter ist und mehrere verschachtelungen enthält wesentlich erleichtert

Hi,
the solution is VPN. The easiest and cost free way is to download hotspotshield from www.anchorfree.com
As it is free and many use it, it can be slow some times. Also monthly traffic is limited.
But with HSS you can access any website i.e. skype for downloading it. As well yo can use skype without restrictions.
If HSS is not satisfactory you need to signup with blacklogic. com or witopia, but that costs. Also you need to know how to establish a VPN. Its not really complicated but requires some knowledge.
My advice: Try HSS first. Then you can surf for other solutions, because Etisalat off course blocks pages like blacklogic.

To unblock Skype you can use something vpn service like VPN Privacy or something else.
Here is a good way, because it was prevent traffic monitoring and allow you to bypass any network restrictions.
