After installation of Skype 4.0 I must recognizd that the transfer volume in both directions increased dramatically, even in the status of inactivity (no chat, no phone call). Within a few minutes some million KB were transferred. I don't know why this happens. Skype 4.0 has eliminated a big part of my available transfer volume within a very short time. For nothing! I had no calls, no chats, no file transfers. Only after closing the Skype application, the data transfer stopped.
I can't remember that I've ever had such a dramatic data transfer in the old Skype versions.
Therefore, I must delete the 4.0 version from my competer in order to install again the old version.
Is there anybody who has made the same experience as me and who wonder about the background Skype actitvities?
